Donald Meltzer
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Meltzer joined Ampad in August 2005 as President and CEO. His background includes an impressive track record of transforming businesses through customer-centered strategies. He joined the company most recently from Johns Manville where he served as Vice President and General Manager of the $600 million Roofing Systems Group. Prior to that, he was the Executive Vice President and COO of Clore Automotive, establishing Clore as the market leader in its key product segment. Mr. Meltzer was key to similar business accomplishments when he served as Vice President and General Manager of Ingersoll-Dresser Pump Co, North American Products & Services. Mr. Meltzer holds a BA in Business from the State University of New York, and an MBA in Management from
New York Institute of Technology.
Edward Byrne
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Byrne joined Ampad in February 2006 as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer with 20 years of financial, analytical and engineering experience for Fortune 100 companies. His most recent assignments were Vice President of Finance – Engineered Products Group and Finance Leader – High Performance Nonwovens Group for Johns Manville where his financial expertise led to improved performance, cost savings and increased capacity. From 1992 to 2003, he held increasingly responsible financial and management positions with Honeywell. Prior to that, he held engineering and marketing positions with General Electric Company. Mr. Byrne holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from Duke University.
J. Kevin Coughlin
Senior Vice President, Sales & Value Delivery Team
Mr. Coughlin joined Ampad in November 2005 as Vice President of Sales. In this role, he is responsible for leading Ampad’s Value Delivery Team for the office superstore channel as well head the internal Sales Center of Excellence. Before joining Ampad, Mr. Coughlin was with Johns Manville – Berkshire Hathaway since 1993. He served most recently as Director of Sales for the $600 million Roofing Systems Group. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Firestone Building Products where he built a world-class customer service organization and led the organization to double-digit growth in market share and profitability. Previously, Mr. Coughlin held progressively responsible positions in the production and marketing departments of Owens Corning. He holds a B.B.A., Business, from St. Bonaventure University.
Pamela McMaster
Vice President Innovation, Design, and Product Marketing
Pamela McMaster, Vice President Innovation, Design, and Product Marketing, joined the Ampad team in September 2006. Ms. McMaster has over 18 years of brand management experience in a number of consumer packaged goods and services categories, including consumer health care, confectionery and snack foods, consumer banking and education. Prior to joining Ampad, Ms. McMaster worked for several Fortune 500 companies such as Warner-Lambert, Nabisco and Citibank, and also for the University of Denver. Ms. McMaster’s many accomplishments included a National Chain Drug Association Award for Best New Product Launch in 1994 and Brand Equity and Sales Growth Award for her innovative merchandising and packaging. Ms. McMaster has a B.A. in Management from Goucher College and her MBA in Marketing from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Brad A. Roach
Vice President, Supply Chain
Management & Logistics
Mr. Roach joined Ampad in October 2005 with over 16 years of supply and logistics expertise. Immediately prior to joining Ampad, he served as the Senior Director of Global Logistics at Johns Manville. He has also held progressively responsible sourcing and logistics positions for significant consumer products companies including American Standard Companies, Inc., Honeywell International, and Dow Chemical, North America. Mr. Roach holds a B.S. in Business Logistics from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Mark Koepsel
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Koepsel joined Ampad in 2006 as Vice President, Operations. In this role he is responsible for achieving and maintaining outstanding performance throughout Ampad's operations, both in the U.S. and Mexico. Prior to joining Ampad, he served as Director of North American Operations for American Standard Inc. Over the course of his impressive career, he has held leadership positions with manufacturing organizations including Ohio Cast Products, Amcast Industrial Corporation and Champ Corporations. He holds a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin.
Brad Istas
Vice President, Management Information Services
Brad Istas joined Ampad in October 1992 and his considerable expertise has contributed materially to the company’s achievements in the application of computer and network technologies to day-to-day operations both internally and throughout the supply chain. In particular, the skilled implementation and management of electronic data interchange (EDI) by Mr. Istas and his team has been instrumental in earning Ampad the recognition by some of its largest customers. His expertise also includes disciplines such as systems and network design, computer programming and systems controls. For 18 years prior to Ampad, Mr. Istas held various MIS positions – including MIS Manager and Vice President of MIS – with Stuart Hall, a Missouri-based manufacturer of writing tablets, notebooks and envelopes.
Janine Adamski
Director, Human Resources
Janine Adamski joined Ampad in 1999 as Corporate Human Resources Manager, quickly advancing to her current position of Director, Human Resources. Ms. Adamski serves as the focal point for programs and functions that optimize overall team configuration and performance. In the six years prior to joining Ampad, Ms. Adamski held several key human resources and financial management positions with Mellon Financial Corporation including: Officer, Human Resources Representative; Operations Manager; Site Financial Analyst; and Senior Service Administrator. Ms. Adamski received her B.B.A. in Human Resources, with a minor in Economics, from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
